Three members of law enforcement perished and no fewer than 15 people sustained injuries in a seemingly deliberate detonation from gas at a farmhouse in northern Italy.

How It Happened

The explosion took place as law enforcement and fire personnel went into the residence near the city of Verona to enforce an court-ordered eviction for two brothers and a sister aged in their 50s and 60s.

The three deceased individuals served in the Carabinieri military police.

Legal Proceedings

One male and one female got detained at the scene and one more individual who fled after the incident was apprehended shortly later. The trio have been admitted to medical facility.
